A guide to the teen text-short-made-up wording that seems to be every where
A typical conversation these days seems to be less than three words. Kids have somehow figured out how to communicate with less effort on their part. They seem to use new words everyday, evolving past the YOLO and "lol" days. An example of this is a completely new word with no true meaning: FYE, a seemingly non-sensical word means "cool" to the kids around the block. They also found that shortening words to just the first letters is very effective. Wdym means "what do you mean" and wbu means "what 'bout 'u'". They also seem to have twisted the meanings of some words. Sick now means awesome and bombed means failed. So next time you hear something that seems to be alien handwriting, just ask your teenage neighbor, and I am sure they can definitely help you out. TTYL
